These brackets can hold a 12' sheet with no problems. I wouldnt side another house without these.
I have snapped chalk lines and used story boards before, and it is time consuming and we still ended up have issues with keeping the reveal correct. I just finished installing hardiplank siding and I dont know what I would've done without these.
We still checked occationally to make sure we were still level and sure enough, gnats on. These tools are awesome.
Just get your first board in level and go to town. They are fast and easy to use, and you dont need 3 guys to do the work.
Nothing better than having the right tool for the job.

These things really work great. I am able to install all the siding on a house by myself. I recomend them to anyone siding with fiber cement siding. With or without addtional help.
This Tool is A Must if Doing Siding By Yourself or With Help.This One is A Easy Tool To Use. It Is Idiot Proof.
I was very pleased. this is a must for anyone who does cement siding. By yourself or with a helper this item keeps you hands free to pick up a nail gun or a level. The only done size if there is one is it wont do 12" siding. This was not a problem for me since I seldom do 12" siding.
